Expansion of our production

cts grows by a further 11,000 square meters

The most significant investment made by cts GmbH last year was undoubtedly the construction of the new production hall at the company’s headquarters in Burgkirchen an der Alz/Germany.

There are many reasons for the expansion. The most important reason is the fact that the previous production hall in Fuhrmannstrasse, just a few meters away, is completely full and will not be sufficient in the future. This is also due to the continuing excellent order situation, which means that production capacities will be fully utilized for the next few years.

Another reason is the centralization of production automation. Previously, production automation was distributed across different objects. There are also various external warehouses, which have brought additional logistical challenges.

The new construction of the hall, which is over 100 meters long and 34 meters wide, has provided a new home for almost the entire production automation system – including storage space.

Facts about the hall

The hall, which is 105 meters long, 34 meters wide and has a maximum height of 13.5 meters, is located on a plot of approx. 11,000 m².

This results in a total of 3,000 m² of production and storage space. In the future, the construction, service and purchasing departments will also find space in the directly adjacent 800 m² of office space.

The new building was constructed to the highest possible energy standard and is equipped with a 300kW air-to-air heat pump for heating and cooling in the air circulation system as well as an 800kWp photovoltaic system.

Approx. 28,000 tons of gravel/gravel/sand were used
Approx. 5,000 tons of concrete
Approx. 1,800 m³ of thermal insulation
Approx. 550 m³ timber
Approx. 1,200 m strip lighting & lighting
Approx. 55 km of electrical cable

Approx. 2,000 m² paving stones
Site fencing: approx. 500 lm fence & 3 electric gates with 10-12 m drive-in width
Extinguishing water pond: over 1,300 m³ water capacity
2 extinguishing water extraction points
15 large trees, 1,200 ground cover plants,
600 shrubs, 35 m³ bark
