The handling of and the handling technology for components is an important part of automated manufacturing and one of the core competences of cts. Our experience ranges from small parts(electronics/semiconductor/lifescience industry) to heavy, large products(automotive/plastics/toolsindustry).
From harsh environments to sensitive cleanrooms
Our portfolio includes ESD-compliant versions for the electronics industry as well as GxP-compliant versions for the medical technology and life science sectors.
In automated processes, raw material, semi-finished products, finished parts, packaging units, etc. often have to be moved several times. Components are moved by means of single or multiple linear axis systems, pneumatic or electric, and by 4- (Scara), 5- and 6-axis robot systems.
The appropriate gripping systems for this are selected by our experts to match the process. If there is no suitable system on the market, we can design and build the grippers in-house.
